As mentioned previously, we have been on the internet for 10+ years and have been hosted with a multitude of different hosting companies, some good, some bad. We actually doubt that there will be a problem that we will need to solve, however we do know that unforeseen circumstances do happen and we want you to know we are here to help. Once you become a customer you will be given access to our Support Ticket system. We will do 90+% of our support through email, or solve the problem for you, whichever is quickest and email you the results. We are also aware of the times when you actually NEED to talk to someone, and we are available for you at the times listed to the right..
We are also aware that 'support' should not be limited to just the technical side of server operations, but also with regard to making your site and business practices as effective as possible. As mentioned earlier, Rod has written over 100 articles/eBooks pertaining to conducting a successful online business and wants to share the tools needed as well as the knowledge needed to use them to ensure our hosting customer's website is a success. Tired of "Big Brother" Hosting Companies?
We were too. For us it was basically 2 problem areas:
1. Price
2. Technical Support.
Price: As a small business or start-up owner you need to 'shave and save' anyplace you can just to survive! Believe it, we have been there, done that! Most of the Big Brother type companies (you are probably with one right now) think that they have the right to charge excessive hosting fees because they have a toll-free number and 300 employee paychecks on their payroll. We will be the first to tell you that running a hosting company cannot be accomplished on a 'shoestring' budget, however there is that magical point where you go from being in the RED, to being in the BLACK. For them it is about profits for shareholders, for us we enjoy helping and also to make a couple bucks.
Technical Support: Maybe we should say LACK of tech support. Prime example happened just recently with one of our development customers. Long story short, she was on a 'big brother' server (her sister works there) and she was having problems with a CGI script. She called me to see if we could help and we did. The call took 73 minutes, through 4 different "techs" and they would tell us what we should do, but when asked how that would help they confessed they didn't know. We finally got them to admit that they really didn't know anything about what we were talking about, that in fact they were just reading from a 'help file' on a computer that generated questions for them to ask which they would then click on the result to respond to us. After basically badgering them they finally put us through to a "Real Tech", the Network Admin. The problem was finally solved (their end) . The moral of the story is: What they consider a "Tech" is some poor schmuck drawing minimum wage who knows nothing of your problem. That's not the case here. |

Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm
Weekends 9am - 3pm
Our Support Ticket System never sleeps and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Normally response time is within an hour or so. We will call you if we need more information to solve the problem.
What you get from us is much, much different from other companies as we really DO want your website to run right. We will assist in answering questions (even the ones you think are dumb), and if needed assist you with 3rd Party CGI or Perl script installations for a very low hourly rate of $20 per hour.
